What influences your parenting more: God’s Word or the world?
To fight sin, we must believe the gospel and rely on the Spirit to help us grow in maturity.
To be a Mum is to unconditionally love, care for, nurture, train, discipline and teach your child/children. This is a life long task.
“One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.” Prov 18:24. When thinking about the topic of friendship, the best place to look is to Jesus.
”The tongue of the wise brings healing.” (Prov. 12:18)
Friendship is not an optional extra but is essential to our God-given humanity.
“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” (James 1:27)
If you live in a scheme—or a poor community in another part of the world—you’ve probably had to think through this issue.
