Erik Raymond is the senior pastor of Emmaus Bible Church in Omaha, Nebraska and has a blog, The Ordinary Pastor, on The Gospel Coalition.
“I think there’s some glamour about going to places where people don’t look like you. . . . There’s lost people in both places, and we really have to think hard about where God might want us to go, and where God would want us to send our resources. The gospel is infinitely glorious and glamorous when people repent and believe.”
In this video, Erik talks about the attraction in going to exotic countries on mission, but challenges us to think about those who are equally lost in less glamorous places.
